Roots air blower

The Roots blower has two parallel rotors, each with an impeller and a shaft. Small gaps are maintained between impellers, and between impellers and the casing/wall plates to prevent contact friction.

The rotors are driven by an electric motor via timing gears, rotating at equal speeds in opposite directions. The gears prevent direct connection between inlet and outlet. Instead, the impellers, casing, and wall plates form closed chambers that trap and transport gas efficiently.

Features

1. Positive displacement blower – No compression; air delivery is smooth with minimal flow rate variation as pressure changes.

2. High-efficiency impeller design – The special mesh-curve impeller and compact housing make this Roots blower highly efficient with low energy consumption, representing a new energy-saving product.

3. High volumetric & thermal efficiency – Energy-saving performance is achieved. The rotor adopts an advanced composite curve for more reasonable meshing, further increasing volumetric efficiency.

4. Tri-lobe linear-shaped impeller – Reduces inlet and outlet pulsation, resulting in quiet operation with low noise and vibration.

5. High-precision synchronous hard-faced gears – Ensure long service life.

6. Double-row bearings – Allow concentricity adjustment, provide strong load capacity, low vibration, and significantly extend blower life.

7. Oil-free clean air delivery – The reasonable sealing structure prevents oil from entering the chassis, ensuring no oil dust in the transported air.
